Domestic violence blamed in death of mother of 4

Domestic violence in North Carolina is a serious issue that effects many people. It tends to be a vicious cycle that can end with people being seriously injured and even killed. It is a touchy subject for a lot of people, but the more it is talked about and dealt with, the better those affected by it are able to heal and realize that they do not have to put up with it.

A 28-year-old mother of four who was recently found dead near her townhome in West Virginia is believed to be the victim of domestic violence. The 31-year-old father of the woman’s 1-year-old child is suspected of stabbing and strangling the woman. The man was arrested and taken to jail on charges of first-degree murder.

It is not known why the man did what he did, and there are few details about what led up to the violence, but the community is mourning this woman’s death. A candlelight vigil was held to pay tribute to the woman and hopefully allow the community to begin to heal. The vigil was organized by Citizens Against Crime, an organization who hopes to raise awareness about domestic violence and spread the word to people caught in an abusive relationship about how they can get help.

If you are in an abusive marital relationship, there is hope. You may wish to speak with an attorney experienced in the area of handling the unique circumstances surrounding domestic violence. Doing so may enable you to escape your oppressive situation and move on toward a brighter future.
