Nicholas VanGilder

Nick VanGilder is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He spent 10 years as a caddy at a country club in Michigan. He attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan and then attended law school at the University of Tulsa.  Upon graduating in 2023, he was then admitted to the Oklahoma State Bar in 2023. Nick then went on to practice as a public defender for 3 years where he tried over 60 jury trials including high level felonies; such as murder, rape, and domestic violence cases.

Nick has always had aspirations of moving to North Carolina and was officially licensed in North Carolina in 2025. With Nick's background, he has always been someone that is there to fight for his clients when no one else will. Nick cares deeply about effective communication, a fight for what is right, and ultimately a client's ideal outcome; and is not afraid to do what it takes to get there.

Outside of work Nick loves Detroit sports, golfing, and playing video games.
