Lack of prenuptial agreement will impact Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. While many people in his position go into a marriage with a prenuptial agreement in place, he decided against this.

Depp and his wife, Amber Heard, are heading for divorce after only 15 months of marriage. Heard is requesting spousal support, which could put a dent in Depp's monthly income.

A prenuptial agreement is something that every couple should consider, especially when one or both parties are bringing a lot of assets into the marriage. Of course, a large net worth is not required to have this type of agreement.

Other people who could benefit from a prenup include:

-- Older couples who have been married before.

-- People who have at least one child from a previous relationship.

-- Those who expect to earn a lot of money in the future.

As you can see, Johnny Depp fits most of these criteria. Not only does he have children from another relationship, but there is no reason to believe that his earning power will fall off any time in the near future.

There is no denying the fact that the lack of a prenuptial agreement is sure to impact Johnny Depp in some way. In the end, Depp and Heard will go back and forth in court until both parties agree to a settlement.

A prenuptial agreement is not always required, but for some, it's something to look into before tying the knot. In the case of somebody with a high net worth, this is almost always a good idea.
